Bryan thought that ten points wasn't a small enough point spread, so, in the next round, he defeated Charles Reinke by the smallest possible margin, 393-392. Since Charles was playing two games at once with no clock, Bryan used the lack of time pressure to his advantage, making precise endgame plays that secured his victory.
